Philosophy
Fertile land and precious land, naturally rich in wine. Following the principle of “creating a national style”, relying on the unique terroir of Helan Mountain, combining modern technology with traditional craftsmanship to produce high-quality wines that fully embody the Chinese style.
The winery
In 2013, Ningxia Zhengfeng Construction Group invested 100 million yuan to plant the first vine in the Hongjifan Wasteland in Jinshan Production Zone on the eastern slope of Helan Mountain, marking the beginning of Woerfeng Winery’s pioneering path.
Although the terrain composed of heavy gravel is hard, it possesses a unique potential for terroir. In 2017, construction of the main building began, merging Chinese architecture with garden-style, during two years of meticulous development.
The winery officially opened to the public in May 2019 and began to expand into domestic and international markets that same year. The winery has always followed the philosophy of “creating national style”, not blindly imitating Europe, but making Chinese-style wines based on the characteristics of the Helan Mountain terroir. By combining digital management with traditional techniques, it has quickly grown to become a representative winery in the region.
In 2022 it received the AAA national certification of Tourist Attraction and in 2024 it was included among the top 50 Chinese wineries in Hurun.
