Yinong Xiaoya 2023

Yinong Xiaoya 2023 is a dry red wine produced by Ningxia Yinong Winery, located in the Ningxia region, in the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains, China.

Founded in 2015, Ningxia Yinong Winery combines winemaking with a focus on culture and tourism. Its identity is closely related to the 《诗经》 (Classic of Poetry), whose concepts of Feng, Ya, and Song inspire both the names of its wines and various elements of the winery.

Xiaoya 2023 comes from vineyards located at an altitude of between 3,870 and 4,000 feet (1,180–1,220 meters), on gravelly terrain and calcareous soils. The winery is committed to rigorous yield control, manual harvesting, and careful selection of grapes from its own vineyards.

Production techniques such as cold maceration with dry ice and gentle pressing are used to preserve the purity of the fruit. The winery also follows a minimal intervention philosophy, without the artificial addition of acid, tannins, or other substances intended to modify the wine’s profile. Fermentation and aging take place in oak barrels.

In the glass, it presents a bright purple color, with aromas of black fruit, cedar, and balsamic notes. On the palate, it is broad and fresh, with flavors of black fruit and nuts, showing a balanced profile with different layers of expression.

The 2023 vintage was awarded a Gold Medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2025, according to the documentation provided.

It is presented in a 750 ml bottle, with natural cork and a 6-bottle case format. The production of this reference is approximately 8,000 bottles.
