Qingyun Winery, founded in 2021 in Qingtongxia, transforms the ancient Gobi Desert into sustainable vineyards. With organic cultivation, manual harvesting, and aging in French oak, the winery expresses the character of Ningxia through high-quality wines.

Philosophy

The winery
Qingyun Winery, founded in 2021, is located in the main grape production area of Gezi Mountain in Qingtongxia, on the eastern slope of Helan Mountain, next to the Gezi Mountain site. The winery organically integrates vineyard cultivation, winemaking, and cultural tourism, forming a modern and sustainable winery that combines production, ecology, and lifestyle. The total area covers 6,612 square meters, with a 600-square-meter underground cellar, French oak barrels, and stoneware tanks.
In 2015, high-quality vines were planted in Pigeon Mountain, a prehistoric land. Through exploration and cultivation, the ancient Gobi Desert was transformed into a lush vineyard. Currently, the winery has a standardized planting base of 800 ha., introducing imported French vines and planting multiple grape varieties such as Marselan, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc, following the philosophy of natural and scientific organic standards.
The winery is dedicated to producing high-quality Chinese wines: organic vineyards, carefully selected manual harvesting, and aging in temperature-controlled oak barrels.
Main milestones
In 2015, high-quality vines were planted in Pigeon Mountain, a pristine prehistoric land
In 2020, the vineyard was rated as a high-quality demonstration garden
In 2021, the winery began organic certification, and that same year, it was established in Gezi Mountain Cultural Tourism Town, founding the winery
In 2023, the winery was completed and put into production
