Reaige Marselan 2023

Sangue Marselan Dry Red Wine 2023 is a dry red wine made from 100% Marselan by DULAAN Winery, in the Ningxia region, in the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains.

The grapes come from a vineyard located in the Jinshan area, on gravel and pebble terrain from the alluvial fans of the Helan Mountains foothills, at an altitude between 3,675 and 3,773 feet. The vineyard is in the process of European Union organic certification.

Harvesting is done manually and by plot, taking advantage of low temperatures. Grapes are hand-selected and placed in tanks within a maximum of five hours from picking to preserve their quality and freshness.

Fermentation takes place in small, temperature-controlled tanks, dynamically adjusting the maceration time to extract the desired characteristics from the grapes. Subsequently, the wine is aged in French oak barrels and matures in an underground cellar with constant temperature and humidity conditions.

Crafted through a collaboration between French and Chinese winemakers, this Marselan presents an intense yet elegant profile. The nose features violet, peach, and blackberry, while the palate offers a fine and silky texture, with tannins providing a distinct coffee sensation and a long finish of ripe fruit and plum.

With a production of approximately 30,000 bottles, Sangue Marselan 2023 represents a concentrated and refined interpretation of this variety in the Helan Mountains terroir.
